Food Fairy® Spring 2021 Update!

Here is our Good News and a Good News Coupon for you, too!

First bit of news is that every chef will have been vaccinated and achieved the fullest level of immunity offered by May 9th and so far most all have already. We are all continuing to be cautious and still using masks and/or distancing when required and/or requested.  Transparency is still our priority so if we are personally traveling to hot spots or attending large, unmasked group events, we will inform you and hope you will do the same for us. Our previously mandatory pre-cook health screenings and temperature checks are an option clients may decline.

Our biggest news is that we are building a commercial kitchen here in Chatham County, on my property. The Food Fairy’s fully customized personal chef services are here to stay! However, once the kitchen is completed, we will be able to also prepare our extraordinary meals off-site as well as prepared party-food and all may be for delivery. We have hired another knowledgeable and talented chef, Sydney, who has lots of commercial kitchen experience. She is currently our commercial development manager.

Anticipated completion of The Food Fairy Kitchen is December 2021 – January 2022.

We also have the honor to have Gwen from Chapel Hill join our gaggle of food fairies!  She is a talented chef who has done a lot of pastry magic for restaurants in the Triangle. She has a great passion for family, food and feeding people! We welcome Gwen into our fold!

Our staff of chefs have been hibernating with their families and now vaccinated, have come back to life.  Chef Anna is cooking for clients in Raleigh and will soon be teaching zoom cooking classes. The first class is a cook-a-long of Spanish Tapas with wine pairing scheduled for June 2nd. While Amanda lovingly tends to our Raleigh clients, Leigh, Karin, Magdalena and Gwen serve up deliciousness to families in the Chapel Hill, Durham, Chatham, Hillsborough and Cary/Apex neighborhoods. Out west, Karen is tending to our growing Charlotte area clientele.

We are busy doing what we love; cooking for our clients, new and old alike as well as cooking for small family weddings and celebrations, with everyone’s safety still a priority.  Wishing for you and your loved one’s good health and vitality as you come to life during this beautiful North Carolina spring!
